MIT notes for science studyWe need your help! This research project aims to make quantitative recommendations about how personal information management (PIM) tools should work to be more effective. To do this, we need data about how people take notes.
To contribute to MIT Notes for Science, we've added instrumentation to List-it that makes it easy: all you have to do is download and use List-it making sure that you click the "Participate" button in the Preferences menu.
Your notes and how you use list-it will be kept strictly private and confidential. For more details, read the study description here.

At MIT CSAIL we study ways to design better tools to help people cope with information overload and to stay organized.
Our team consists of Max Van Kleek, Greg Vargas, Michael Bernstein and Katrina Panovich, and our PIs are Prof. David Karger and monica (mc) schraefel.
list.it is a collaboration with the University of Southampton and the Nokia Research Center, and is supported by the Web Science Research Initiative and the The National Science Foundation.
